Swansea uplands game now away

Due to the bad weather forecast for the weekend and the unlikeliness of underhill being playable the Swansea uplands game is now being played away at Swansea uplands. This is in line with the Ospreys cup rules in order to ensure the game is played.  Meet in uplands at 11:30am for a 12:15pm kick off

Training at mumbles junior fun day

The crusaders will be doing a fitness and training session this coming Saturday as part of the mumbles RFC junior day in the park. This is part of the cracker sevens weekend. 

Please be in the park for a 10:30 start on the main pitch.

Pre-season training starts

Pre-season rugby training gets under way this weekend with training in the park on Sunday 16th 11:15am to 12:15pm

Please wear footwear appropriate to the ground conditions. 

Meet on the main pitch. 

This will be followed by another session on Tuesday 18th 10:30am

Cwmtawe 7s - 1st August

We have been invited to play in an under 16s 7s tournament as part of the cwmtawe rugby festival. Obviously this is a tricky time of year for numbers with lots of people on holiday, but teamer coming out later to check availability for what should be a good day of summer rugby for those that can make it...

Ospreys Cup Finals Day

We play the final of the Ospreys Cup bowl competition this coming Sunday at Llandarcy.
The Teamer will come out later in the week, but we will be going for a 3;00pm meet time outside the clubhouse in Llandarcy.
The Kick off for the game against Bryncethin will be at 4:15pm.
The changing rooms will be open for us at 3;15pm so please allow time to arrive by 3;00pm

There will be food available on the day

Please note that there is NO PARKING available at Llandarcy on Sunday with the vast majority of the car park being closed to traffic. It is probably best to drop off the players then try and park elsewhere in the vicinity. We have been warmed that the ever helpful Council traffic wardens will be on hand to advise you when you have parked illegally by sticking a bright yellow £35 fine on your windscreen.

Kit for training Tuesday

Training Tuesday 5-6pm

Training in the run up to the final on 17th may starts this Tuesday in the park. With lots of boys busy in a host of other sporting activities we will be keeping the contact minimal and training from 5:00 until 6:00 on the dot.

Touring side Sunday

This coming Sunday we are hosting a touring side from Gwernyfed in underhill. They are touring the area on the weekend and we will kick off at 11:00am on the main pitch in the park. 

Meet 10:15am then please can everyone make the effort where possible to return to the club to welcome our guests to mumbles RFC.

Felinfoel CANCELLED

With so many players on both sides having other commitments over the Easter weekend the game against Felinfoel has been cancelled. 

Sunday v Felinfoel

We are due to play Felinfoel away on Sunday 5th April. As its Easter weekend and some people may be away the Teamer text has gone out early so we can gauge availability for the game. 

This should mean that if we can't get enough players we can let Felinfoel know in plenty of time so please reply to Teamer ASAP. 

Week following ospreys semi

A fantastic result for the boys in a hard fought game against Morriston in the semi final. 12-12 puts is through to the final which extends our season to 17th May. 

Bit of rest for the boys this week before our game against Felinfoel away next Sunday. 

Then it's a 6 week run in with some training to do ahead of the cup final on 17th

The semi against Morriston is now being played on the 3G pitch at llandarcy. Meet at 10:15am

Ospreys cup v Morriston

Meet mcdonalds car park in Morriston - 9:45am on Sunday. 

Ahead of the ospreys cup semi final on Sunday can everyone please meet in the car park of Morriston mcdonalds at 9:44am. This should allow enough time for everyone to get there and arrive in Morriston Rfc as a full squad to warm up ready for the game.

Training Tuesday

Training Tuesday 5:00pm in underhill

No training this week

A good win on Sunday for the boys and a busy week of rugby for everyone. With schoolboys training Tuesday and Thursday. Bishopston and bishop gore both training in the week as well as playing games on Thursday we have decided the best thing for all the boys is to not do any crusaders training this week so they are fresh for a game on Sunday. 

Training will start to ramp up a bit in the following weeks ahead of our cup game against Morriston at the end of the month so plenty of rugby ahead for everyone.

It's been a bit quiet on the training front lately with bad weather and unfavourable light. We have Pencoed away this coming weekend. More details to come regarding times and venue details. Look out for teamer

Unfortunately our game against Whitchurch this weekend has had to be cancelled. Despite best efforts we have been unable to secure an alternative fixture. 

With the freezing temperatures forecast for Sunday the decision has been taken to cancel training for Sunday this week
