2014 New Tour info

Mumbles Crusaders Tour Scotland 2014 

Below is an outline of the tour itinerary that has been put together. We all feel that this tour is amazing value and will enable the maximum number of players to have an experience they will remember.

We are training Friday at 11.00am in Underhill and will hang around for any questions about the tour after training has finished at approx 12.15pm

Brief details: 

Dates: Friday 14th March to Sunday 16th March 

Depart by coach: 1pm Mumbles RFC on Friday 14th March 

Travel by Coach – approximately 6 hrs 

Arrive at Dunfermline 10pm approx. – include stop off and activity on journey.   

Accommodation Friday: Stay hotel Friday night. 

Saturday: Play against Dollar Academy Saturday morning 

Afternoon activity with hosts 

Go- karting/ paintballing/Bowling/ Lazer Quest. 

Saturday evening/ night – all boys hosted with pupils from Dollar Academy.

Sunday morning – all meet at Dollar Academy

Travel to Edinburgh to play Stewart Melville College. 

Sunday afternoon – Mike Morgan’s cultural tour of Edinburgh.   

Depart Edinburgh 4pm. 

Return Mumbles – 12 midnight (approx. with stops)   

Total Cost: £120. (food not included)

Deposit required Sunday 5th January

£60 per person to confirm booking (this is non-refundable)

Sunday meet 10.30am

We are meeting in St. Helens at 10.30 this morning. Food is at 1. 

Please make sure all the boys have a change of clothes for the buffet.

Sunday clothing

The players will have the use of the changing rooms at St.Helen's Sunday.
All the boys will need to come with a set of clothes to change into after the game ready for the buffet...

It's CHRIIISSTTMAAAAASSS! (nearly)

Christmas is almost here and to celebrate in some kind of style The Crusaders will be playing a special Christmas fixture against our friends and rivals at Swansea Uplands.
On a bumper day of festive rugby at St. Helen's and Swansea Rugby Club, the Mumbles u12s will play New Dock at 10.30 with The Crusaders playing Uplands at 11.20
Food and festivities will then be available in the Swansea club for all involved.

We are paying for the pitch and changing room hire at St. Helen's out of funds, and are asking a small contribution towards the buffet of £5 per person from Mumbles and £5 per player from the opposition.
It should be a great day for the boys to be together and also for parents to chat about the joys of Christmas after the game.

If we can all get there by 10.30 that will give time to warm up and also take in a bit of u12s rugby

Mumbles Crusaders arrive at St. Helen's: 10.30am
Mumbles u12s KO v New Dock: 10.30am
Mumbles u14s KO v Swansea Uplands: 11.20am
Food served in the club: 12.45pm

Back on the astral for training ok Wednesday at 5.30pm ahead of the uplands Xmas bonanza game on Sunday 22nd. 

More details of some kind of schedule for Sunday soon. 

To try and raise some money for the tour perhaps those who are able could offer some prizes for a raffle?
